Korea has plenty of vegetables on the table, but meat and seafood hide in places you would not expect. Knowing where makes it much easier.

Useful phrases

I’m vegetarian.

저는 채식주의자예요.

jeoneun chaesikjuuijayeyo.

I can’t eat meat, fish or any seafood.

고기, 생선, 해산물 다 못 먹어요.

gogi, saengseon, haesanmul da mot meogeoyo.

Is there anchovy broth in it?
